Ashutosh Patel received his PhD in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph in Canada where he studied the effects of stress-related neurosteroids on neuron function and synaptic plasticity using patch-clamp electrophysiology and computational modelling. Ashutosh received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and psychology from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in biomedical science with a specialization in neuroscience from the University of Guelph.
