This microcredential teaches students how to conduct an analysis of ethical issues that may emerge in the application of neurotechnology. Students will explore a spectrum of neurotech use-cases (clinical, wellness, consumer, corporate, defense, and security) and the ethical issues involved. At the end of this course, students will develop the skills to critically assess ethical issues in neurotech, and compile and communicate their analysis using a standardized template for evaluating a neurotechnology product from five different perspectives (Technology, Analysis, Legal, Ethical and Social).
