Fiza Arshad received her B.Sc. (Hons) with distinction from the University of Toronto in the Neuroscience Specialist program with a minor in Creative Writing. She later acquired an M.Sc in Neuroscience from McMaster University where she investigated the effects of acute stress reactivity. She is now a Ph.D. student at the University of British Columbia where she is studying the influence of audiovisual cues in problem gambling using eye-tracking and neuroimaging tools.
Fiza is also the Vancouver Chapter Lead for NeuroTechX.
