Spencer Arbuckle received a B.Sc. in Psychology from Queen’s University and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Western University, during which he was awarded an NSERC doctoral research scholarship. In his research, Spencer developed novel computational methods to combine measures of brain, muscle, and behavioural data to study how we sense and interact with our world through movement. More broadly, Spencer is passionate about teaching and all things science and data, including the use of science and data in policy making, and the advancement of data literacy. As part of his efforts, he has led projects with the Canadian Science Policy Centre and volunteers with the Canadian Association for Neuroscience to help advocate for scientific infrastructure in Canada.
